Rotan has ankle surgery

The 24-year-old was operated on at a Belgian clinic and is expected to return to Ukraine next week, the club said in a statement on its Web site.

He suffered the injury during Ukraines 3-2 win over Georgia in a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying match on Sept. 6. Rotan joined Dynamo last year from Dnipro.
