Key Weekend Games
Manchester City vs Manchester United

Manchetser United want to be masters of their own fate this weekend and not to have to rely on a favour from their arch rivals Arsenal to secure them the cup. If Manchester United win and Chelsea lose against the Gunners then Manchester United will be uncatchable at the top of the table. The reverse of this is that if Manchester City win at home against Manchester United for the fourth time in the last five meetings it gives Chelsea a glimmer of hope going into the final length.

United are keen to catch Manchester City in a bad week after the training ground incident between Joey Barton and Ousmane Dabo which has seen them both be unable for the game.

Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce joked at a press conference this morning that he is gald that he never played against Cristiando Ronaldo in his playing days because he'd end up getting a red card every week. The full back capped 78-times for England met some of the world best players in hos day but admits that Ronaldo is something else.

Fulham vs Liverpool

Liverpool will have to draw their minds off of the impending Champions Leauge Final and focus their attention on the run in to the end of the domestic season this week.

Benitez is expected to rest most of his first team stars after the historic mid-week game against Chelsea and with an eye to the fact that Fulham are going to do all they can for the win. It is widely speculated the Spaniard may hand debuts to teenage defender Jack Hobbs and goalkeeper Daniele Padelli alongside rookie players such as Emiliano Insua and Craig Lindfield.
