Roeder resigns as Newcastle manager

After 15 months in charge of the Magpies Newcastle announced that Roeder has stepped down on Monday morning.

In the statement the club were keen to make out that he was not sacked.

An emergency board meeting wasw called after the 2-0 loss to Blackburn at the weekend in which Roeder was present.

It has not been made clear who will be in charge for the final game of the season but it is all too clear that Newcastle will soon be appointing their fourth manager in three years.


No matter what yu say about Roeders season the facts still stand that if they lose to Watford at the weekend Newcastle will have their lowest ever points tally since it went up to three points for a win. They have won only one of their last 10 games and have not scored in the last eight hours of football.
