Everton sign Baines

The 22-year-old is believed to have cost David Moyes' side £6 million with a medical taking place today.

New Wigan boss Chris Hutching says the player goes with his blessing however he wants the deal done and dusted as soon as possible so that he can plan for the future.

Baines was in talks with Sunderland earlier on in the Summer but turned them down to hold out for a move to Everton- his boyhood team.
