Newcastle sign Enrique

The former Villareal player joins the Magpies for £6.5 million 5-year-deal. Enrique is the latest in a long line of players that have believed that this is Newcastles year.

Enrique watched Sampdoria's defeat to Newcastle on Sunday and can't wait to get into the first team. This signing looks to be a good thing for fellow Spaniard who according to Luque has been appointed his mentor for the following season beating any kind of transfer rumour surronding the striker.

Allardyce was keen to say that this is a signing for the future just as much as it is for bringing the current team forward.
