Arsenal in European success

Goals came from Fabregas and Hleb in a well fought battle however Arsenal's fitness showed through in the later stages of the game.

The first goal came in the 73rd minute. Gael Clichy produced a beautiful mazey run and gave Fabregas a beautiful cross to put his side in front. However Sparta Prauge kept the pressure up and Lehmann had to produce a vintage performance. In injury time a similar lead up to the first goal occured with Sagna crossing the ball back for Hleb to give the Gunners a comfortable lead going into the second leg.
