Bojinov fighting back to fitness

The forward signed from Fiorentina in the Summer had a good start to the season before rupturing a knee ligament in the Derby win over Manchester United. He was originally written off for the season but the club's fitness coach reckons it could be half that time.

Bojinov returned to Italy to get surgery however is now back in Manchester working on his fitness with the rest of the team.

Although his manager Sven Gorran-Erikkson is crying out for firepower he insists he is not going to rush his player back however his fitness coach belives that he could be fit by mid-December and match fit for the New Year.
