Key Festive Games Stats
Birmingham City vs Middlesborough

Middlesborough are clear favourites for this game with Birmingham going 7 games without a win and Boro winning twice in the last three, including the shock turnover at Arsenal.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa

Last season both times these teams met ended in a draw. At Stamford Bridge a Agbonlahor stike cancelled out Drogba's goal with the reverse fixture being a goal less draw.

Derby County vs Liverpool

Earlier this season the Reds ravaged Derby 6-0, but with a change of manager and, seemingly, fortune Derby have started to look more of a unit. In it's way this is a key game for both teams one with aspirations for the title and one with aspirations of survival.

Everton vs Bolton

New manager Gary Megson has turned round the trotters fortunes in recent weeks with 10 points from the last 6 games. Omens look good for Bolton with the last time they faced each Everton on Boxing Day they came out 4-0 winners.

Manchester City vs Blackburn

With Manchester City still holding on to their 100% home record you have to see them as favourites for the game today. However Blackburn have only lost one of their last five games.

Portsmouth vs Arsenal

Both teams have had dissapointing runs of late. Redknapp's men have lost the last two games whilst Arsenal are still smarting from their away defeat on The Riverside.

Sunderland vs Manchester United

Although being unbeaten in the last four games Sunderland have slipped into the relegation zone whilst Manchester United are going from strength to strenght in challenging Arsenal at the top of the table.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham

Diomansy Kamara's amazing overhead kick saw these two draw 3-3 earlier in the season. Both these teams have changed manager this season with Jol being replaced by Ramos and Sanchez temporarily suceeded by Ray Lewington.

West Ham vs Reading

This is bound to be a tight game. Both sides won there weekend fixtures 2-1 and they find themselves side-by-side in the League. It may be Reading that have the advantage, however with the Hammers only managing to win 2 in their last 8 home games.

Wigan vs Newcastle

Wigan have proven to be Newcastle boon team in recent years after failing to allow the Magpies to do the double on them in any one season. Stever Bruce will hope this tradition stays true after the 1-0 loss in September.
