| Paulo Jorge to miss Celtic match
Winger Paulo Jorge has joined Benficas injury list for the Champions League Group F match at Celtic on Tuesday, club officials said on Sunday.
Benficas new signing, who will be out for up to two weeks with a right knee problem, joins injured Greek midfielder Giorgios Karagounis (calf) and playmaker Rui Costa (thigh).
Benfica crushed Uniao Leiria 4-0 away in the Portuguese Premier League on Saturday and now have 10 points, five behind leaders Porto but with a game in hand.
Celtic warmed up for the match with a 4-1 win at Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday that leaves them top by five points over Hearts. |
