there was certainly some trouble in Edinburgh after the Hibs -Hearts derby. In fact, the Hibs casuals are one of the UK's most notorious 'firms'. Most trouble takes place outside of the grounds now but hooliganism, like football sctarianism, is as much a social problem as it is a football problem. Football is an easy scapegoat for politicians. Football is just an outlet for the violent tendancies of hooligans.
