| UK venues in line for NFL first. The UK has emerged as front runner to host the first competetive NFL match ever to be played outside the American continent.
The NFL's 32 team owners voted last month to hold 2 regular season games outside the US from 2007.
The four leading candidates to host the first match are Canada, Mexico, Germany and the UK with Wembley, Twickenham and the Millenium Stadium all being touted as possible venues.
The NFL staged it's only competetive game to date in Mexico's Azteca Stadium in 2005 although the Chicago Bears took on the Dallas Cowboys in a pre-season game in 1986.
