Inter moved 7 points clear after 3 late goals gave them a 3-0 win at Empoli whilst Roma lost 3-0 to Lazio in the Roman derby, Palermo returned to winning ways on saturday with a 3-0 win at home to Livorno and their Sicilian neighbours Catania moved into 4 th with a 1-0 home win over Udinese.
Inter have now won 8 in a row and are starting to look unstoppable.
Milan were held 0-0 by Torino and remain 15th on 13 points.
Standings : 1st Inter 39 pts, 2nd Roma 32, 3rd Palermo 31, 4th Catania 23.
