| no, because like it or not there are loads of clubs in every country and they all rely on playing each over for business. losing the top club from the league is not going to help out the league and the nation.
The format would have to be discussed but i would say no because even though a lot of clubs hate the old firm (although everyone seems to prefer celtic to "them") i think that the rest of the country need to be able to play the toip teams to help them financially and to keep thier standard up.
anyway. if we had a super league everyone would get board with that. the reason the Celtic - milan, man u - bayern, liverpool barca games are exciting is because we rarely see them.
