Birmingham are on the verge of making their seventh signing this summer, with Lille defender Rafael Schmitz set to join the club on a season-long loan deal.
The Brazilian is set to undergo a medical before finalising the move from France to the Premiership.
Meanwhile, Premiership newcomers Derby have agreed a €3m deal with Sheffield United for defender Claude Davis, subject to the Jamaican passing a medical and securing a work permit. |
