| Marchionni Suffers Injury In Training
Juventus midfielder Marco Marchionni has suffered a possibly serious injury during training.
Bad news for Claudio Ranieri. Midfielder Marco Marchionni has suffered a bad injury. During Thursday's training, the player hit a bump on the pitch with the front part of his left foot, which caused a strong pain to the zone near the 5th metatarsal bone. The X-Ray examination made this morning evidenced an incomplete fracture to the aforementioned bone.
The player has now been assigned a tutor and will have to walk on crutches for the time being. On Tuesday an orthopedic visit will be made to clarify the necessary therapeutic program and eventual surgery needed, as well as the approximate recovery time.
Meanwhile, Camoranesi's conditions are improving. As already indicated a few days ago, the Italian-Argentine winger will get back to work on the pitch Saturday morning with a differentiated program. |
