| i can't remember the reasoning off the top of my head, but i agreed at the time, i recall. either way, if yo want to get to know people, then chat away in the threads. Off-topic is for exactly that sort of thing. this isn't a chat-room though, so if you want to just idly say 'lol' and other pointless fragments, then i'm afraid not. that, in my experience, is what they end up as. many members have MSN details on their profile pages, chat that way if you like.
as for signatures... i agree. i'd like a sig image, using a standard 468×60px web banner. however, the Admin have stated that they don't want images in signatures, and they don't want links. since they own the website, and pay for it's continued upkeep, what they say goes. i don't argue, i just follow orders. like the SS guards at Nazi concentration camps, but without the jackboots. |
