Brightwell targets maximum points

Macclesfield manager Ian Brightwell has no fresh injury concerns or suspensions ahead of the home clash with high-flying Hereford.

Sean Hessey and Kevin McIntyre began Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Wycombe but Brightwell may make further changes as he seeks to end a five-match winless run.

Andrew Teague and Richard Edghill are long-term absentees. The defenders are both carrying leg injuries and remain the Silkmen's only absentees.

Brightwell has demanded his side overcome their woeful form and win their next four games, of which three will be played at Moss Rose.

"We are entering a busy period at the moment and I want 12 points from our next four games," he said.

Graham Turner could make changes to his side after Hereford's 11-match unbeaten run was ended at home to Morecambe.

Midfielder Luke Webb was an unused substitute in Saturday's 3-0 home defeat after recovering from injury but could come in to the starting line-up at Macclesfield.

Clint Easton is likely to retain his place in the side after recovering from an ankle injury to feature against the Shrimps.

Captain Karl Broadhurst also returned and is set to continue in the Bulls' defence.

And fellow defender Dean Beckwith could be back after illness as United seek to avenge a 1-0 loss earlier in the season.
