Hello, from my title you will be right to think that I'm a 'Green Army' fan and I'm exiled in Surrey.The robin part may get you but Im a big home and away supporter of Ryman Isthmian Football League Premier Division Carshalton Athletic. I'm orignally from St.Agnes in Cornwall and quite rightly l have always suppported the biggest club in the West Country! Unfortunately, I live three doors away from some Excretia fans so have to put up withtheir strange sad ways!I use to follow Argyle home and away as much as possible when working throughout England and Wales.I also scouted for them when 'Luggsy' was first at Home Park and worked with 'Summer.' I was also fortunate to win a season ticket during this time. What doI think about the Luke McCormick situation? Well. he is really a stupid person to ruin his time in football. He's a good 'keeper and his life will definately never be the same.I noticed also that 'Woots' has ben released, Mr Argyle, surely a place could be found for him as part of the coaching set up? He is surely destined to be a Home Park great and one day manage theclub.
I also was employed at Carshalton for five years on a part-time basis as Youth Team Assistant Manager/Coach /GK Coach/ Scout and was the club's first Youth development Manager. I held the necessary FA Coaching badges at thislevel and was on the firsrt 'Wilkinson Charter' course, which was held in Surrey at Chessington & Hook United and at what was to become AFC Kremlins training complex at Stoke D' Aberanon, nr Cobham.Our biggest rivals Sutton United (Or the Scummers are called )by us Robins fans are just three miles awayacross the borough. They were relegatedfrom the Blue Square South Division last season with thelowest possible points total on record! AH shame! Still it will be good to have two big games against them as well as near rival Tooting & Mitcham (Or The Toots). Other big games will be against newly promoted Dartford/Dover/Canvey Island, as well as Staines/Tonbridge Angels
along with the 'strange people' from Ramsgate. Very high forehead's if you know what I mean?
