First Impression

Dont slate me guys, this is just my unbiased opinion after trolling the board for about 30 minutes.

There seems to be no cbox or chat box on the site, that may enhance membership, and also is a great feature for a forum, especially a footie one, which would allow members to correspond with others during the footie matches, or just about daily life etc.

Also you cannot have decent sized sigs, if you did allow sigs of about 500x200 size it would attract more members, such as members who love making sigs and avatars, I know on my site that is a big area on the forum that attracts alot of attention.

Again thats just my opinion I know if a newbie came on my site and said what I did we would probably slate him, but Im just telling you guys my opinion.

this has been suggested before, and the Admins said they didn't want it. they don't want one, so we don't have one, simple as that. i'm inclined to agree with them, to be honest.

What is the reasoning? I mean you dont really get to know each other on the forum, cbox makes it feel a little bit more like a community, but hey if the hierarchy on this site has spoken, what more can I say.

i can't remember the reasoning off the top of my head, but i agreed at the time, i recall. either way, if yo want to get to know people, then chat away in the threads. Off-topic is for exactly that sort of thing. this isn't a chat-room though, so if you want to just idly say 'lol' and other pointless fragments, then i'm afraid not. that, in my experience, is what they end up as. many members have MSN details on their profile pages, chat that way if you like.

as for signatures... i agree. i'd like a sig image, using a standard 468×60px web banner. however, the Admin have stated that they don't want images in signatures, and they don't want links. since they own the website, and pay for it's continued upkeep, what they say goes. i don't argue, i just follow orders. like the SS guards at Nazi concentration camps, but without the jackboots.

Well I have the feeling the admins, probably did not want a cbox, due to the fact that they are encouraging posts in the forums and not outside of it, fair enough, but personally I think a forum just overall seems more friendly with a chatbox, but im not coming here to tell you guys how to run the site.

And nice World War II reference lol, im liking it haha
