[Guide] Turning off Instant Email To Thread Replys

Here at footballtalk.org you are automatically subscribed and emailed when a reply is made to a topic you post in.

However some of you may not what this option. So to disable the option do the following.

Click on the User CP icon on the top right hand side.

Then go down and click on the "Edit Options" Link. When in this screen look for the following option:

This will now stop you recieving the emails. However you may still get emails from threads you are subscribed to already. To remove this please do the following:

Login once again to your User CP and then choose the link "List Subscriptions"

Now tick the check box as shown here:

Then scroll to the bottom of the thread and chose the No Subscription option:
