how bad? he's lucky not to have a broken leg. absolute shocker, his studs were planted and Binya flew in like Jackie Chan.

it was so bad that the scottish sun ran a "six worst tackles" feature and this was included. How brown has escaped from this without a serious injury is beyond me. the guy was in the papers today actually trying to defend himself. He said he wasnted trying to injure brown and failed to apologise at the very leas5t going in aggressively.

"We hate Kelvin MacKenzie, he's a p**f!" T shirts now on sale. £5 each. Who says Scot's don't know how to make money.

In no way am I defending him but you must agree that it is a very bad tackle but it was not intentional.

It matters in as much as how he is punished if there was ckearintent his punishment should be much more severe than if it was a complete accident.

i guess so but how do you determine intent barton's tackle on ethtu isn't being punished and to me there was intent in that so i think bad tackles should be treatedthe same as there are to many grey areas in football as it is without adding anymore

UEFA have stepped in and given him a 6 match ban on top of hisred card ban so they clearly think it was intentional.

i agree. a potentially career threatening tackle should result in a hefty punishment... fully deserves the additional six match sit out
