Will Celtic Qualify From C/L Group

Do Celtic have a chance of Qualifying from their C/L group.
With the new signings in place and the atmosphere at Celtic park on Euro nites, then i'd say a resounding yes!!!

don't know about that as, under O'Neill, we were the 1st club not to qualify from the group stage with 9 points. that season we deserved to go through after beating Juventus,Porto and Rosenborg at home. the previous season we only needed a point in the last game away Lyon to go through. so we have had our chances.

But thjat was against the odds in this instance you have as far as i can see at least 2 wins, possibly 4. I can easily imagine you drawing with Man U and either beating or drawing with Benefica.

The bookmanlers have Celtic and Benfica almost tied to make the second place. Signing Graveson and Hessilink as given us a chance, that is all. I for one am grateful that we have a chance, before signing these players I felt that we were lambs to the slaughter.

Celtic have never had a better chance of going through, just wish we had Rangers group from last season, we would walk that!

i think the chances for Celtic will be better if they play in the UEFA Cup because they may have the chance to clich a European title but surely not in the CL.

We would certainly be able to make more of a mark in the UEFA but I want to progress in the CL, even if it is only to the next round. Our profile increases if we can stay longer in the CL -- not to mention that the income generated by even one more game is enormous compared to several in the UEFA cup.

there is more pressure on us now to qualify as one of the worst Rangers' side in recent history progressed from their group with an unprecedented points low of 7.

Obviously im going to say that i think Celtic can make it. To tell you truth im hoping more than believing. But i think it will be difficult for all the teams in the group, including utd. Copenhagen did well to beat Ajax over thier qualifiers so nobody should expect and easy game against them. And Celtic will make it tough for Man U and Benfica. 'Mon the Hoops!

If we perform like we did last night and cut out the silly mistakes then we definitely have chance of qualifying from the group in 2nd place.
