vCash: 500 | Benfica THUMP Celtic well, Matt was right, 3-0 to Benfica at Estadio, Celtic are good, but they aren't Greece. Quote:
Complete list of Champions league scores. with a few games still to be played for champions league, nothing is set in stone. We pretty much knwo for a fact that ManU is moving on, but given these results today, who do you think is second? Last edited by sdrawrof : 11-02-2006 at 03:24 AM. | |

vCash: 379 | Celtic certainly didn't help themselves gifting Benfica 2 goals ,felt sorry for Gary Caldwell, as you say with United losing in Copenhagen the group is now wide open anyone can qualify now. |

vCash: 500 | Yeah, we gifted them the goals and generally didnt make it easy on ourselves by giving the ball away far to much. A lot of the time it was unforced errors, poor ball control that cost us. I think Benfica were there for the taking last night but to many players didnt perform. If we had maybe three players like Maloney, Miller and Caldwell playing up to the standard they had set I think it would have been a different story. I mention Caldwell, not because i want to victimise him, but because we needed some assurity at the back and his mistakes shook the full team. But this is all if's and buts and Benfica were proboblly saying the same thing two weeks ago. The groups wide open now, the Man U game at parkhead looks like its going to be a cracker. I know thier top of the Prem but Celtic have a chance against anybody at Parkhead. Mon the 'Tic!!! ![]() |

vCash: 500 | Just one more point. the Celtic player that did come out with pass marks last night was Evander Sno. Did anybody hear if thier was a robbery at Feyenoord earlier this year involving a short ginger assailent with a broad scottish accent? For a nineteen year old that we got for pittance looked like th most assured player on the park. And the fact that he was still biting into challenges and winning them and did well to stay on the park despite a booking in the 1st half. Only 19 as well! |

vCash: 379 | In fairness to Caldwell you could say that if he hadn't put the first goal in Nuno Gomes who was lurking behind him almost certainly would have done but it was a real howler to gift Gomes the second but I guess you just need to put it down to a bad night at the office and move on ,still all to play for. Celtic are certainly capable of beating Man U at home and Copenhagen away which would obviously put them through they could even top the group if other results go their way. |

vCash: 500 | At the end of the day , it looked although it was going to be a tight group from the start, well eveyone else but Man U fans probobly thought it was ggoing to be anyway. And its not dissapointed. 1st Man U - Celts game was a cracker, we've had shocks great wins for Celts and Benfica against each other. Neutrals must be loving this group. |

vCash: 500 | We were poor today but scraped a win against Hearts, but this may be due to fatigue. Any lost confidence should be rebuilding after this steal. |

vCash: 500 | I think they are fit enough to play now. Did any of them play against Hearts or were they too unfit. |

vCash: 500 | we were poor and what is really frustrating is that i really think that Benfica were there for the taking. they did not impress me at all. in fact they just out-lucked us really, although Celtic did not deserve anything from that game based on that performance. Ironically, i thought Benfica played better at Perkhead than in Lisbon and yet they lost. funny old game |
