vCash: 500 | Uefa say Milan-Celt's tie could happen in neutral venue Uefa have stated that Milan would prefer to have thier game against Celtic in a neutral venue as aposed to a closed door game in the san siro. What do you think about this? Is it just? who will it benifit? is it just a waste of what should be a great occasion. Personally, I still think Milan will be favourites whether its in Italy or not. However I think Celts would have a better with an away support to back them up so i would rather see it in a neutral venue. |

vCash: 379 | I agree ,could be a problem for Celtic fans who have already made travel arrangements but if the game is played behind closed doors then that is punishing Celtic fans , I'm sure it will be better for Celtic to play at a neutral venue than playing in an empty San Siro |

vCash: 500 | Everyone seems to reckon it will be held in Geneva now. goldenHuddlestone, the matter is about safety standards to prevent issues such as riots etc. The worrying thing is that the San Siro has hosted 3 European Cup finals and it's taken them until now to deem the stadium unsafe. |

vCash: 480 | But the players that provok the riots, considerably more than the stadium does, will travel to the neutral stadium and cause trouble. Yes slightly less trouble than they did when they killed a man but trouble all the same |

This is, something which Matt quite rightly said, should have been spotted ages ago. Its interesting because we were discussing this in the bring back the terraces thread. The problems in italy may actually show us the progress that has been made in this country. | |

vCash: 379 | Channel 4's web site channel4.com/sport/football ,a good place for Italian football news, as Matt said some turnstiles were fitted at the San Siro last friday night and season ticket holders ( just under 38,000 ) were present for Milan's game against Livorno on sunday Quote from Uefa official William Gaillard "What happened over the weekend was a good dress rehearsal and I anticipate the will be a normal capacity crowd for the match between Milan & Celtic on March 7" |
