Football is all about money these days , it may not be everything but it certainly is the major factor it is inevitable that Chelsea will win the CL one day just as it was inevitable that they would win the EPL sooner or later once Abramovic took over.

Nothing is invetiable in life except death and taxes.

If Chelsea were going to win the UEFA Champions League surely it would have happened by now considering the level of money compared to the rest they have spent/could spend.

I know they havent been playing particually attractive football however its the results that count and unfortunatley they have been getting those.
