Man Utd v Milan

Great game of football last night, I thought Man Utd started brilliantly but after the first 15 mins or so Milan got totaly on top and seemed in complete control of the game until United got their second goal then United finished much the stronger.

The second leg should be good I'm sure Milan can't quite believe they lost but with 2 away goals must still be confident , Man Utd must feel like they got out of jail last night and will be confident of getting a draw in the San Siro as well.

When the draw was made I had Milan to go through but now I think United may just do it.

What do you think ?

didn't see the game, sadly, as i was working

but as a Rossoneri, i'm still confident. as you point out, Matt, the two away goals are in our favour, and may prove to be decisive.

Pretty good game, thought the Milan goalie brought off some verygood saves at times, it will be tough in Milan, but I think Ronaldo and Man Utd will do it.

miloan have the better position as they only have to score once to go through and italians know how to close a one nil game out, although an all english final will be great can't see it for me it will be milan chelsea with chelsea to win it

2 away goals are certainly useful but I wouldn't say Milan are in the best position , Man U only need a 0-0 draw to go through so I would say the advantage is with them all be it slight.

2nd Leg, if Milan can score first, then is game on. If Man Utd score first, is game over for Milan, I don't think they will have to heart to go on afterward.

2nd leg tonight ,how do you see it going?

When the draw was made I fancied Milan to go through now I'm not so sure , could go either way but one thing I do know it'll be a hell of a lot more entertaining than the Liverpool /Chelsea game.

Milan 3-0 Man Utd ( agg 5-3)

Didn't see it but apparently Man Utd were well beaten , so no English final instead a repeat of 2005 .

not sure, to be honest. it'll be close, and i can see it going to penalties. Milan have plenty of fight at the moment, but so do Liverpool. should be a good match - hopefully i can get the correct night off work to see it!

ManUtd didnt show up, poor performance from them, guess they want the EPL championship more?
Ronaldo couldnt get going and a number of others, thought that was one of the worst games Heinze has played for Man Utd.
Wonder if its Liverpool for the CL, Chelsea for the FA Cup, and Man Utd for the EPL? Who knows!

worst performance by an english club in europe for along time come on liverpool lets restore some english pride, it will be a close game but liverpool are a better side than two years ago and are better suited to cup competitions than league even though they will nearly always be in the top four

If it did go to penalties you'd certainly have to favour Liverpool with Reina in goal , he is the dogs in penalty shoot outs.

reina is a good penalty saver but i wouldn't say he's all that remonds me more of barthez than schmeical which isn't a good thing. i think the final will be close but the song will be we won six times in athens

david james has played better overall than reina this season but hasn't got jamie carragher in front of him. cech and van der sar are poss the two best keepers at the minute

I placed a bet at the tabs for liverpool to win... I didnt say how lol but that just means i get an extra 25c for $1 soooo I put $60 so I would get $75 and $15 is profit But that only applys if Kaka is not playing as a striker and if Inzaghi isnt playing either because he's too ruthless infront of goal and is a world-class goal poacher unlike ROFLLLLL Gilardino the ****-****
