Glasgow Rangers in Europe?

Rangers never go anywhere in Europe. They cant even get past the group stages and they never will.

Rangers did very well in 1992/93 UEFA Champions League.

Their home match with Olympique de Marseille at Ibrox in 1992 was a classic despite Rangers being limited to 3 foeiegn players on the park at any one time.

Perhaps if they had no more than their foreigners in their European matches 'today' they would do better as you play the players who make up the best team not the best becuase they are the best unless they are part of the players to make up the best team line-up.

I enjoy watch Rangers in Europe on TV even if they win loose or draw.
Do you think Glasgow Rangers wil ever win the UEFA Champions League?
I hope they do one day but do no think they ever will becuase to date they have tried everything with no success to date to try and win the UEFA Champions League.

Porto won the champions league just 3 years ago , they are no bigger or more importantly richer than the old firm & they play in a generally sub standard league , so on that basis it should be possible for one of the old firm to win the CL though you'd have to say it's improbable.
