Hartlepool No2: We'll cope without Moore

Hartlepool United have enough quality to cope without suspended striker Ian Moore for Saturday's trip to League One leaders Swansea, says assistant boss Ian Butterworth.
Five-goal Moore misses out after five bookings, and Butterworth admitted: "It is a blow to lose Ian – he has been playing well and he has scored a few goals.

"But that is the way it goes. His suspension has crept up on him a bit and I am sure he will be disappointed to miss out – it is a big game and one everyone is looking forward to.

"But we have not been relying on one player to score goals this season, we have spread them around.

"Richard Barker has a few, Joel Porter is in great form, as is James Brown and the likes of David Foley and Michael Mackay have weighed in with a couple as well at times."

Pools boss Danny Wilson knows Swansea have more pace up front than recent opponents, so he could turn to Godwin Antwi and Jamie McCunnie, who both sat out Friday's win over Bristol Rovers.

And midfielder Tony Sweeney produced a superb two-goal return for the reserves in yesterday's 2-2 draw to push his claims.

Butterworth added: "He was the best player on the pitch by a mile and he took his goals very well. When he runs at defences like he can do, it is very difficult to cope with and he has given the manager plenty to think about."
