Will Roy Keane be successful as Sunderland manager and take them back up to the Premiership?

i doubt it. meby after a couple of seasons in charge, but i can't see it happening too soon.

i don't think so either. 2 main reasons why.
1. Not enough quality in their squad
2. Keane's lack of managerial experience

It's such a competitve league with more experienced managers than Keane and a godd few teams with better and more experienced squads. Mid-table i think is the best they can hope for

my thoughts exactly. there are other teams better equipped to go up this season. perhaps in a couple of years though, once he's settled down and developed the squad

You never know, but if i was abetting man i wouldnt be putting any money on any real success. Not seen enough examples of players being a success straight away. And there is so much expectation on the guy already. Good luck though.

good chance. i'm a firm believer that a manager must serve his apprenticeship in the lower leagues to hone their skills. good player don't equal good manager. Barnes a good and for me, a painfull example

no i dont think so needs to get used to his team see there qualities and as jedi knight said he has no experience in a few years maybe but not this season

He will galvanise them and make some good January signings but they'll find this league too tough this year. Mid-table at best
