Cureton's Gas Return??

Hi guys!

Im new to all this, so be gentle!!

I understand that Jamie Cureton of Norwich City is about to make a shock return to Bristol Rovers after numerous bust-ups with current canaries boss Glenn Roeder.

Paul Trollope is keen to push the deal through in order to appease fans becasue of the clubs current situatuion.

Jamie Cureton is said to be keen on the move and would love to finish his career with the pirates. The fee is in the region of 400k, 200k of which is upfront and the rest over a 2 year period.

If you think about it, it aint too much money as he has scored relatively regularly in the championship and apparently rovers were ready to spend 300k on grant holt from Nottingham Forest.

I thought it was City who were willing to splash out 300K for Holty ??
Don't get me wrong, I think Cureton has been & still is a proven striker at L1 & championship level. However, Holty has about 6 - 7 years age wise on Cureton so is worth 300K of anyone's money. Cureton is getting towards the end of his career & for me is alot for a L1 club to lay out....IMO !!
