Davies rules himself out of Hibs job

Derby boss Billy Davies has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant managers position at Scottish Premier League side Hibernian. The Easter Road outfit, who drew 2-2 with Hearts in Sundays Edinburgh derby at Easter Road, are managerless after Tony Mowbray joined West Brom. Now Davies, alongside John Collins and Cowdenbeath boss Mixu Paatelainen, has been linked with the Hibs post.

But the Scot confirmed he had no intention of leaving Pride Park, insisting: "I am committed 110 per cent to Derby County, I am here to do a job for the long-term. I am very happy at Derby, that is why I have bought at house in Derby and that is why I have put my two kids into school here. With every job that has come up in Scotland - Dundee United, Rangers, Hearts and now Hibs - my name unfortunately continues to be mentioned, and there is not much I can do about that."

He seems to be a good manager, with plenty of clubs after him. The rumours in last night were that John Collins was taking over the Hibs job

No manegerial experience. Ironically introduced Collins John onto the pitch for his Fulham debut.

Played for Hibernian, Celtic, AS Monaco, Everton and Fulham and internationally scored a goal against Brazil
