Dowie leaves palace

Dowie for Charlton or Middlesbrough?
Did he jump or was he pushed?

Has Simon Jordan want too far, after all , they have lost one of the most promising managers in English football.

He went for personal reasons. Being a palace fan its hardly SJ's fault. He gave dowie all the money he needed.

Dowie decided to go.

Dave Jones is being touted.

Mixed views. Alot of people think we could have stayed up if he had purchased better but im not too sure.

This season was a let down to most fans and we gave up in the Playoffs without really trying.

I was very surprised not to see Palace come back up. With AJ up front you have the most precious of commodities - a goal scorer.

Watching Palace play last season and I got the feeling that in a lot of games they thought that they were better than the opposition. They prob were but still need to beat them.

Too true. Im glad Dowie has gone yes he was a great impact manager look at our first half of a season in charge.

Personally i feel we had a better team when Dowie started then what he has left us with.

Dowie was shocking in the transfer market and pretty much p***ed Jordons money up the wall. Dowie also has a tactical ineptness...he makes subs at the wrong times and also plays players out of position.

I think the best think in his Charlton interview yesterday when he said "all my teams play passing football"

Then god knows what i witness last season. Ive never seen a Palace team play hoofball so much since the Smith Era.

Dowie will probably have a good season at Charlton next year then the next year oh boy thats when it will come home.
