Drawn Football League matches to be decided by penalties?

Should drawn Football League matches to be decided by a penalty shoot-out?

For or against this idea?

I think it is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard, penalty shoot outs are good to resolve cup games but totaly unneccessary in a league programme, Ithink also it would encourage more negative play as teams would put 10 men behind the ball in the hope of getting a draw and then nicking the 3 points in the shoot out.
I think these days we tend to think only in terms of winners and losers but often a draw is a fair result when 2 evenly matched teams meet and for either to lose on penalties would be unjust.

I was trying to mimic the Sid Waddell phrase from the world of arrows when he said;

"One word - magic darts".

Its true people complain enough about penaltys in the rare games we see them in anyway so why role them out more drastically.

Hopefully the FA will see forums such as these from the fans of the game and realise their plans are absolute tosh.

These people must be so bored to think of these hair-brained schemes. I have not heard anyone complain about 'draws' in football.

Diving, timewasting, referees etc, etc - yes, but draws - no.

They should focus on the real issues and not nonsense.
