Davies Derby boss

any opinions on Billy Davies' appointment as Derby boss?

Personally i think he could be the man to take them back to the Premiership. Been closse twice with Preston with little resources. Now Derby have wiped out most of their debt and have said Davies will have funds at his disposal for new players. Think he will do the business

I don't know if he's got it.

I saw him on an interview and he was tense and nervous. He'll do ok but as for him being any more than a reasonable manager I don't think so.

I know what you mean he doesn't fill me with confidence either.

Still good luck to him.

Derby has some good potential to be a consistent Premiership team.

he seems to be rated down there. only thing that would worry me is that he sounds like he's been taking speech lessons fae Craig Broon. hope he's not been taking coaching lessons fae him as well or Derby could be looking at the Vauxhall conference soon lol

Davies is a fine manager and one that can do a job in the lower leagues.

jurie's out. geezer hasn't been tested at the top level. close but no cigar with Preston, hardly success. still should be good for the Rams.
