vCash: 480 | Leeds United still waiting for season go-ahead Leeds have yet to be handed their share of the Football League as talks continue over the recent sale of the club and whether a CVA was in place. A statement issued by Leeds read: "Discussions are ongoing between senior representatives of the club and the Football League surrounding the transfer of the share. "We will endeavour to keep fans updated as and when there is any further information." |

vCash: 500 | First of all I am a true Leeds United fan. I am in no way just mouthing off, I just feel strongly about what I am about to put. I have just sent an email regarding the state of this great club to the local paper the YEP (Yorkshire Evening Post) ready for tomorrows edition (04/08/07) I am posting it here so that maybe the fans of our great club will rally together and send this on until Bates finally understands we want him out! To the administrators. I know you will probably want to delete this message because of it being anti-something or other, in this case anti-Bates. Please just read it though and hopefully you will allow it to stay. There is no profanity of any kind, it is just strongly felt and worded. The email follows: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well that is it isn't it? I stated in my previous letter I think about us needing to start the season with a lightning speed that would both shock and freak out the rest of the league and show them what a great club Leeds United still is. What has happened these last few weeks, ending in yesterdays (03/08/07) debacle has well and truly put the final nail in the coffin of Leeds United. A 15 point deduction before the season even starts is far too much for any team to make up let alone one that does not even have a goalkeeper to its name. Even if the supposed appeal is successful, the point deduction will probably only be knocked down to 10 points at the very least, so why bother? Ken Bates, YOU are to blame for what has happened to us. I do not care one bit about the past 5 to 10 years, since you took over we have gone further and further downhill. Had you done "the right thing" and walked away after you put us in administration, thus allowing someone else to take over, then this would never have happened. We would have had our shares in the football league back much earlier than now, would have new signings who had actually had time for a "proper" pre-season, oh, and we would NOT have got deducted one point never mind 15. Bates, GET OUT!!!!! And take your Chelsea lackeys with you! Long live Leeds United, forever shall we remain the greatest club in this country and possibly the entire world. To everyone who does not care about this great club, LEAVE US ALONE!!!!! Especially the three-ring chelsea circus that is Bates, Wise and Poyet. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for reading, and once again, to the administrators, please allow this message to stay, and please do not edit it in anyway.
