Is Quinn the man?

seems like Mr Quinn will have quite a lot on his plate. I know he says that taking the managers role is out of necessity but will he be able to take Sunderland up to the Premiership.
Any Sunderland fans out there with any thoughts?

Has Quinn had any managerial experience? You will certainly need a quality manger or a lot of money to come back from the championship.

Can`t see him being able to do both jobs, better get a manger in soon before the fans get frustrated.

I think this can only lead to a conflict of interests. If things go wrong will he step down as chairman as well? It too weird, a manager needs a boss to answer to. Thats a basic assurance that fans have if the manager isnt working.

quite agree. i think he'll find it almost impossibel to wear both hats.
Can see him actually having to sack himself eventually

Barry Fry did it at some club in the lower leaugues. Cant remember which. Think it might have been Brentford or something like that?

Sunderland will be a much harder job than Peterbrough, and Fry had plenty of experience - even although he is a nutter.
