Not played the new fifa but pes 6 is too good to lay down. Never been a fan of fifa to be honest though.

it all depends what you are looking for in a football game. me personally, i don't really care about having the official leagues, fancy graphics etc... it's the game play for me and how realistic it is. Pro evo wins hands down when it comes to realistic game play. It's the leader of the pack in terms of sales and is affectionately known as the players' console game

Pro Evo all the way, i played Fifa and still after 4 years i found it to be not rubbish but arcade like, the last Fifa i bought was 2003 and that was it for them i thought it was poor, Pro Evo on the other hand in my opinion are alot better tho i have found Pro Evo 6 to be abit disappointing.
