End of season drama , AZ top - 1 game left

A fantastic climax to the season is in prospect in Holland as todays results leave the top 3 teams level on 72 points.I don't think I can remember a time when 3 teams went into the final game of any league still able to win it.

AZ Alkmaar are top on goal difference and in pole position after a 3-1 win over Herenveen , Ajax thrashed Sparta Rotterdam 5-2 whilst PSV were held 1-1 by mid table Utrecht.

AZ have a goal difference of 53 compared to 47 for Ajax & 46 for PSV so they only have to win next weekend to secure the title.

Next sunday AZ are away to Excelsior , who are already relegated , Ajax face Willem II away & PSV are at home to Vitesse Arnham.

I really hope AZ win it will be all the more remarkable as PSV seemed to have it sown up at Christmas.

I think AZ will snatch it but I hope somehow Ajax can grab the title and avoid the champs leagu playoffs.
