Nurnberg top of the Bundesliga

Nurnberg maintained their place on top of the Bundesliga with a 1-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach at the easyCredit Stadium on Friday night.

A sixth-minute goal from Markus Schroth was enough to earn Hans Meyers side their second successive win at the start of the new Bundesliga season.

Monchengladbach, who also won on the opening day, took the game to their hosts but were unable to beat home goalkeeper Raphael Schafer, who kept his second consecutive clean sheet.

Finally a league i know and have studied.

Do you reckon Bayern Munich will top the table this year? What with Ballack gone and Hargreaves going.

This has been the opinion of Liam Stiles. The Poster boy of Footballtalk.org
