This Sunday sees the first meeting between the La Liga giants this season.

It is a game that splits an entire nation and Sunday's clash is no different. In short, it splits the world of football down the middle.

I've gone for the draw ,I don't like Real because of their close assocciation with the Franco regime even now you see that their demise coinsided with the election of a socialist government in Spain , when their is a right wing government in Madrid Real get unfair support.

i feel Barca are stronger but with home advantage for Rea,l i feel a draw will be the end product of what should be a cracking game. These are the games us footy fans live for

A win for Real for me lots of players will be dissapointed after the loss to Chelsea and they are really missing eto and ronaldinho is nto at his best...

POlitics aside, who do you think is the better team??? Barca??

I think Barca should take this game, but onyl just, maybe 1-0 or 2-1.

For me Barca are well ahead. Real have an embarresment of riches but no team.

Although Barcelona had lost to Chelsea in the Champions League, they are still very strong in the La Liga.
Real Madrid is rather inconsistent in the league and might crash out on this one. Ronaldinho might be back to his best also.

Hope Rijkaard will imploy a more attacking style of play rather than the cautious style that they use against Chelsea. Real's defenses' concerntration is not good and it's a place where mighty attacking Barca can exploit.

General Franco was a fascist dictator, supported by Hitler's Nazi party. he wasn't a good guy.

he was facist his team was real madrid. facist is right wing...you follow? real madrid is linked with the right wing in Spain just as AC Milan is linked with Berlusconi in Italy becuase that was his team.
