F.C.Porto's highly rated Brazilian Anderson is out of action for up to 3 months after breaking his leg in the 3-2 victory over Benfica on saturday the teenage midfielder who is alegedly being tracked by a host of top clubs had an operation on the injured leg in a Porto hospital on Sunday evening.

I'd say he's more Maradonna than Ronaldinho, i.e he is a bit chunky and very strong on the ball but I think he is going to be one hell of a player.

I'm sure he'll be in England Spain or Italy within 2 years or maybe the Bundesliga ,German football realy seems to be on the up at the moment.

someone once said "if you can't beat the Brazilians, break their f**king legs" Benfica took it literally. something like this is always bound to happen, its fukking Benfica vs. fukking Porto. I wish he would have broken his leg and Porto woudl have lost. that would have been the ultimate "fukk you" from the rest fo the entire country. I hate Porto.

I think he'll go to la liga thats where all the players with lovely skill go (Robinho, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Maradona etc) thats where they can show off.

that's bad luck. The game is in serious need of flair players to get the fans excited again about football. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

He looks class. I seen a few clips of him and he certainly has skill in abundance. I would not rule out a move to Chelsea when he recovers and hits full form again.

Theres a good chance he could go to Spain as well although Zidane & Maradonna both had successful careers in Italy as well, it does seem that Latin players are more at home in Latin countries than in England.
