vCash: 500 | Wenger Linked With Real Role Carlos Sainz, a candidate for the president’s position at Real Madrid, has revealed that Arsene Wenger would be his first choice for the vacant manager’s position after the departure of coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro from the Bernabeu. Several names have been bandied around after the previous coach’s exit but Wenger’s was a surprise addition to the race from the potential partnership Juan Miguel Villar Mir and his partner Carlos Sainz, who is a former World Rally Champion. Michael Laudrup is a front runner for the manager’s position and a firm favourite with several influential figures at the club. Other prominent figures who are on the short list is Fabio Capello, who has already held talks with another presidential candidate, Ramon Calderon. However, it seems unlikely that previous front runner Sven Goran Eriksson will be offered the manager’s position. Sainz has confirmed that he will seek talks with the Arsenal boss if he wins the race to be Real president. "We are in the process of trying to do that," Sainz declared. "We want a complete overhaul of the club. "We need to secure a general manager and a coach first who will be at the heart of the club." |

As long as he does the business for Rangers the fans won't care...but if he has a bad start it could be the night of the long knives for LeGuen. As for Wenger for Madrid role. The only role Wenger will have in Madrid is with sausage or chips. D'oh

vCash: 500 | I hope he leaves, and takes Jose with him can't stand either of them. Always moaning about referees. It is never their players fault that they lost the game, always a bad decision cost them. Will Mourinho or Wenger ever say that they were beaten fairly and squarely? |

Good point my scouse friend. I reckon many more outbursts from either of them and the public may lose respect for them. In my opinion it's already happening to Jose. Wenger has been about a long time and will take longer in his case. D'oh
