vCash: 379 | Taça de Portugal Sporting 1-0 Belenenses Sporting won the Portuguese cup yesterday with a hard fought 1-0 win over their less illustrious neighbours A decent game of football was end to end throughout with both keepers Ricardo ( Sporting) & Costinha ( Belenenses) pulling off a string of fine saves. As so often Sporting's leading scorer Leidson popped up in the 87th minute to prod hope a Veloso cross to win the game with extra time looming. Bad luck on the underdogs but just about a fair result I would say. |
