vCash: 480 | Fink succeeds Matthaeus at Salzburg Former Bayern Munich defender Thorsten Fink has been appointed co-trainer at Austrian football champions Red Bull Salzburg, Austrian media reported Sunday. Fink, 39, who was the club's reserve team coach, succeeds Lothar Matthaeus who was dismissed last Tuesday after differences with fellow coach Giovanni Trapattoni. Fink won the Champions League with Bayern in 2001 and also played in the German Bundesliga for Wattenscheid and Karlsruhe. |
