vCash: 480 | TV footage clears sent-off pair The Romanian Professional Soccer League (LPF) has cleared two Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt players sent off in last weekend's opening fixtures after studying TV evidence. Serb Dejan Rusmir and Bosnian Vojislav Vranjikovic were shown red cards during the match against Steaua Bucharest for dangerous play and were both given a one-match ban. "The LPF's Disciplinary Commission watched TV footage which showed the referee's decision to send off both players was wrong," LPF official Robert Urs told reporters on Friday. Earlier this week the LPF banned the referee in question, Sebastian Coltescu, for an undetermined period for "major" errors. |
