Celtic have been making enquiries for Jan Venegoor of Hessilink and also Tumyshuk [I cannae speel].

Both are good players and would be great additions to the squad.

Both would be excellent, however i doubt it will materialise due to the cost of them. According to the daily record (so it must be true!) it would cost £10 million for both of them. For players of this quality i bleieve we would get value for money. I just can't see celtic spending that sort of money.

They may spend it if they get the money they want for Petrov. They should be able to bring these palyers in for less than that though

we can afford Timoshcuk, Van Hesslelink I'm not sure about. However the board might see the mechandising oppertunity in having a player called Jan Venigoor of Hesslelink. It would cost more for fans to have his name on thuier shirt, in fact they might need to buy 2 shirts!

If Petrov leaves, or when Petrov leaves, we will sign a replacement. Whether that be Timoshcuk or someone else I don't know. I was impressed with him at the World Cup though, he is certainly good enough.
