Talks start over Cole Transfer to Chelsea

Arsenal have confirmed that they have had 2 informal meetings to discuss the sale of Ashley Cole to Chelsea.

Personally i think the guy is overatesd and his attitude stinks. He got caught discussing a move to chelsea them accuses Arsenal of not standing by him? If Arsenal could get £16m for this guy i think it would be a good bit of business.

I would like him to stay really because he does bring alot to the team. Plus if we kept Cole and Clichy then we have great cover.

I don't like Cole as a person but as a player he is one of the best left backs in the world, no doubt about it.

Chelsea will be the place for him, his huge ego will look a little smaller beside Jose's

I'd be so suprised if this happens it would be one of the most suprising transfers in the history of the Prem. For a club to sell from the top three is something I wouldn't of thought would of happened.

Cole does not want to be at Arsenal, he supposedly has bad words to say about Wenger/Arsenal [not sure which]. Sell him now before the fans turn on him would be a wise move.

It is a strange one, to move withing the top 3 in the premiership, and the last example I can think of is from Scotland and Mo Johnston moving from Celtic to Rangers.

Now that added some extra tension to the Old Firm games, little f$%@* turncoat that he is.

The last player that mved from Asenal to Chelsea as far as im concerned is Petit though I could be wrong. Also Andy Cole played for Arsenal reserves but I don;t think that really counts

Phillip Lamb and Zambrotta are way better, but Cole will still be a good signing.

I don't know about Lahm being better than Cole, Cole is a better defender in my book.

I would agree with you about Zambrotta being better though.

Thats my problem with Cole, I don't rate him as a defender. I think he is good going forwardbut i dont believe that he has the all round game that merit £16m. His attitude is ***** as well.

he's a good player who still has to fulfil his potential. currently, a little overated. i think he is a little suspect defending wise. can sometimes fall asleep but his pace does tend to get him out of trouble

they better not be cheating this time! lol anyway i dont care if he goes to chelsea i will be annoyed for him to go to a prem rival but with the money that chelsea will give which will be loads we will be able to replace him with someone world class and buy other players as well
