Reyes Eyes Spanish Return

Arsenal forward Jose Antonio Reyes has admitted that he wants to return to Spain and is flattered by the interest being shown in him from Real Madrid.

Reyes signed for the Gunners in January 2004 for £17M from Sevilla but has never settled at the Premiership side and Real Madrid are known to be his preferred destination.

"I have always said that I want to return to Spain. I have nothing against Arsenal, completely the opposite. It is a great club and they have helped me so much. The fans have given me so much support since I joined. "

"But they know that I have not adapted to life in England. I have not got used to the language or the weather. If Real Madrid want me then that is marvellous. I have always said what a huge club it is and it would be an honour to play for them. Let's see what happens."

working his ticket. he's off. will donate £5 to charity if he is still at Arsenal by the end of August.
we sometimes forget how difficult it must be for these guys to settle in a foreign country
