Spurs' Chimbonda Bid Rejected

Paul Jewell has confirmed that Wigan have refused a cash plus player offer for full back Pascal Chimbonda.

Rumours suggest that Spurs had offered Danny Murphy and Andy Reid but Wigan are believed to be holding out for the full asking fee of £6M.

Is he worth it?

I didn't think so, £6M is a bit steep for a player who has spent most of his life in the lower leagues.

He seems a good player, if he is still producing it this season they may get somewhere closer to that figure when the transfer window re-opens.
