vCash: 500 | Inter Chase Crespo Serie A giants Internazionale have for the first time declared an interest in Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo. Crespo has made no secret of his desire to return to Italy, but remains with the Premiership champions. The Argentina international enjoyed a successful spell on loan with Milan in the 2004/05 season and his exploits clearly left an imprint on their neighbours Inter. Chelsea have stated Crespo can leave for the right price and now Inter could be mulling over adding another player to their squad following the capture of Juventus' Patrick Vieira. "At this time I can't say anything," said Inter director Branca. "However, there is still plenty of time left in the market and there is also Hernan Crespo." Meanwhile, The Blues are sweating over Arjen Robben's fitness after he hobbled out of pre-season training with an ankle injury. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho does not believe the Dutch ace sustained a serious knock, but he is unhappy the winger sustained the blow. "We are not happy with it - but it doesn't look much," said Mourinho. Mourinho will be keeping his fingers crossed that Robben has not damaged ligaments with the club lacking cover following Damien Duff's switch to Newcastle. |
